While at Kanopy, I started a filmmaker interview series called Kanopy Conversations. I serve as the host of the series and use this program as a means of promoting new films on the platform. Each episode ranges from 30 mins to an hour, and gives viewers behind-the-scenes insights into the films and documentaries they can watch on Kanopy. In the episode above, I interviewed writer/director Charlie McDowell about his film The Summer Book (2024).

As a side hustle, I serve as a motojournalist, focusing on new motorcycles and gear. In addition to writing reviews, I’ve also had an opportunity to shoot and produce video pieces to accompany my articles. The above is a ride and review of the 2025 Yamaha XSR700 for Road Dirt magazine.

This is a short documentary I worked on while at Turner Classic Movies that illustrates my passion for classic cars and classic film. This piece initially appeared on FilmStruck and subsequently aired on TCM as an introduction to Bullitt (1968). It is a breakdown of arguably the greatest car chase in cinema history. I served as the automotive expert, while a colleague (Scott McGee) analyzed the stunts and camera work.

As part of this FilmStruck Extra, I supplied an audio commentary dissecting the legendary car chase in Ronin (1998).

As an homage to Saul Bass, I supplied an audio commentary for this FilmStruck Extra discussing his amazing work in the opening scene of Grand Prix (1966).

For this FilmStruck Extra I provided an audio commentary that outlined the rivalry between the Mods and the Rockers in Quadrophenia (1979).

This FilmStruck Extra was truly a personal project as I had an opportunity to discuss not only On Golden Pond (1981), but also the time I spent fishing on these same lakes with my grandfather in New Hampshire. As a tribute to my grandfather, the folks at TCM were kind enough to let me honor his memory with an intertitle at the end of the piece. That modest gesture was greatly appreciated by my entire family.
